MEDIATE Art Group is excited to introduce its new Artistic Director, Tiare Ribeaux.

Tiare brings a wealth of experience and fresh perspectives to MEDIATE with a background in producing multimedia and interactive art and a prolific instigator in the diverse music and sound art scenes in the San Francisco Bay Area.

She is a curator and multimedia artist interested in the cross-fertilization of the fields of music, design, science and technology. As the Artistic Director at B4BEL4B Gallery and Co-Curator and a Program Manager at CODAME, she has advocated for and produced immersive art experiences that provoke new perspectives, conversation and ideas. She is inspired by the constantly evolving landscape that we live in and believes in harnessing new tools and materials to create works that are innovative, educational, and intriguing. Tiare sees the world as a connected web comparable to a mycelium network and believes that we are living in an extremely collaborative age in which creative works can become more powerful when artists come together to re-invent older methodologies.

“I am so happy to join such a Bay Area artistic force like MEDIATE,” says Tiare. “I am excited to get down to work and bring new artists and technological innovators who span music, sound-art, avant-art, film, design, and other disciplines that will make our productions more enriching and meaningful to our audiences and the communities in which we live.”

“Tiare is an artistic warrior – unwavering in her creative vision and a beacon in a sea of constant change,” says Executive Director Alan So. “I am thrilled to collaborate and support Tiare’s vision and build upon MEDIATE’s reputation as a leading organization developing groundbreaking, immersive and experimental art and music experiences.”

“We are excited for the future of MEDIATE with the addition of the incredibly talented Tiare Ribeaux,” adds Jeff Ray, President of the Board of Directors. “This evolution for our non-profit is another step in creating a sustainable future that can fulfill our mission to develop meaningful experiences through innovative art and music.”

Tiare is a proud resident of Oakland, a world traveller by way of Hawaii. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Hawaii, Manoa.
